The time has come (the walrus said) ...

Alas, another year's worth of hosting and domain bills are about to land on my virtual doormat for RaptorChapter.com, and regrettably no sponsorship is currently forthcoming for next year.

I'm afraid this means that the Raptor Chaptor website will cease to be on, or shortly after, the 11th October 2005.

Thanks for the ride peeps, and can I urge you to visit some of the other sites that we do have ongoing sponsorship for: -

www.ridersite.com
www.fjrowners.com
www.daytona600.org
www.r3owners.com

With the impending demise of this encarnation of the Raptor Chapter, I'm going to try and find us a new home.

THis may however take longer than the time we have left here. So if anyone is interested in knowing where we move to could you please email me (use @ instead of AT - to save spam on my address :)) and once we have a new home I'll let you know

please send to Sheb_AThotmail.com and put raptor chapter in the subject line - thanksxxx

Finally - HUGS to all who have played here, and many thanks to the Hamsta and all at Bike Jonny.com who have supported us so far! XXXX

I've sent the details to Snappy and Shebee (didn't think it appropriate to just publish in the public domain).

OK there is assorted frantic pm'ing and emailing going on - I might even have to pick up a phone sometime soon - trying to find us a new home.

It will however mean losing all the data that is on here and starting again - so if anyone fancy's doing some copy and paste into word - please feel free!!!

I'll update you as soonas I know anyfink

we have a few days yet.... fingers crossed!!!

What about charging subs......

Post by Miz »

Why not try asking members to pay yearly subs to cover costs?? I think it would be worth asking, the worst they could do is say bugger off!!

TIE.

Nice idea Miz but we've been there before and the site does not generate enough personal interest for 'subs' to be effective .. It appears that Raptor riders are an enthusiastic bunch, but would rather put petrol in and go play than pay to join a 'club' (I'm guilty of that too!)

I'ts looking like we have a solution - fingers crossed!!

Again if anyone is going to be missing from here in the next few days but would like to know where we are going, please email me:

sheb_AThotmail.com
.... (AT = @ In an attempt to cut down the spam  )

and I'll try to keep you informed!
