Hi chaps. I'm in a bit of a dilemma.
I have an Xtra Raptor that i have loved for about 6 years.
I'm at the point of maybe wanting to sell her to someone who will look after her. (i'm wanting to do more track days and i'd be gutted if I smashed her up at Cadwell).
The question is, I have no idea what she is worth or even if its worth selling at all.
Info:
2004 Xtra Raptor No 224
16000 miles
PCIII
ATRE with gear indicator
Carbon mudguard, hugger and indicator pods added by me.
Akra carbons cans from a 2007 ZX10R with link pipes made up (un-godly loud)
New 2ct's 300 miles ago
Shes starting to get a bit of corrosion on the engine casings and frame. Not to bad but it needs taking care off.
I have loved this bike to bits and have never seen another one. I did a track day on it and just felt to nervous of damaging it to enjoy myself.
What do you all think????

Re: To sell or not to sell.......
Alex, there was someone on here very recently specifically looking for an Xtra. Get searching the forum
As for value it hard to judge as with these it not just about miles/condition and as much to do with availability and desire.
I would say a poor condition one would bottom out around 3k and unless it extremely special it should top out at about 4-4.5K
Not everyone will agree but there ya go................................
Me?? I`d keep it (its appreciating) and buy a cheap track bike

Hi Alex,
I would keep it and continue to love it, and instead buy a cheaper spare bike for the track.
I have done so my self. I have the V-Raptor that I love and enjoy and also a cheaper Honda CBR600 that is easy to fix with lots of cheap spare parts if you should happen to crash.

I'm a puny shortarse, and I can't imagine what I'd replace my Xtra with. Low seat height, low weight, 100 horses, V twin, there aren't many alternatives. Your mileage may vary, of course, but if I were wanting to ride around in circles all day I'd be splashing out on something dropable.
Road racing's where it's at - going round in circles all day is for hamsters.
