As Beowulf go, they are always good at anything they make.
They're in my home town, and are a blooming good place to have about.
They never used to sell these, as a fair while back they needed to a bulk order and not just little old me! So now I see that they are doing them, I shall be saving my pennies to buy :-) I've been thinking of making my own anyway..... But now I don't have to!

We did discuss them a while back, they're a bit "bling" for me, I've got this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220936470011, which comes with some mesh for the oil cooler.

EDIT: Here you go! http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... ilit=bling

Yeah I thought it was too blingy aswell. That's why I was thinking of painting them black, cause the design itself is really cool

Thanks for the links!

Thanks for the feedback dave, did you see any chain guards anywhere, the only one I've seen is the tasty carbon fibre one at TrendItaly.

I've been aspiring to achieve a bike Mad Max would be pleased to ride, one of my pet mod projects is to swap out bling and gold coloured stuff to matt black, so I've learned a thing or two about making stuff black recently! For many things, like the crappy clear plastic bowls hanging from the airbox and air intakes a permanent marker pen will do the trick, but any areas subject to stone chips are much harder to keep black. I love a game of chasey with a friend on an Aprilia Tuono, which is particularly prone to throwing rocks and stones at me, so I've had a few goes at the axle pinch bolts at the bottom of the forks. I've even tried using brake calliper paint, and hardening the paint surface by cooking the bolts in the oven as per the instructions, but I still find that a painted surface is vulnerable to removal by stones, one chip at a time, just something to consider if you go down this route.

EDIT: Just noticed dme28 has tried it, see http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... 230#p32218

Yeah I figured as much because my rad is already chipped as it is. I just figured I'll have to respray it from time to time. No biggie :)

Not sure if you got these, or not. But, they're easy to install, would look great Painted and do not nnegatively affect my cooling. :ride:
