Dunno if it's only me but I dread getting a rear wheel back into the swingarm, especially if the bike is up quite high on an Abba stand. Various bits of timber are never the right height, and if you use the toe-cap method it requires some contortion to get the axle back through. I aired the problem on the UK Monster forum and one clever chap suggested pump-up air wedges. With a little carpentry (OK, just a couple of boards hinged at one end), I've now got a brilliant bit of kit I'm sure I'll use a lot in the future!

Great solution!
I must admit I use an ABBA stand snd all I do is jack up the front until the swing arm is at right height for rear wheel!
